I guess it’s been a while since I posted anything on the blog. Christmas time because extremely busy for me, and then when it was time for break, all we did was rest and play as a family.
L got asked to participate in the Stake Children’s Choir for the Christmas Concert. The girls were asked to wear white dresses, so I went ahead and made her baptism dress early. I already had the pattern and the fabric, as I’d been buying it in bits as I got coupons from Joanns. I’m probably too picky, but in spite of the mistakes I made, I do think it turned out well.
We did put up our tree this year. (Last year I didn’t bother because we were gone for two weeks, and J was two. I saw no point in putting up the tree and letting him pull it down when we weren’t even going to be there for Christmas.) The kids loved decorating it, although I did need to even it out, top to bottom, when they were done.
They all got new pajamas, as I think everyone does. (Note the TV in the above pictures …)
And we had a wonderful Christmas! The kids noticed the TV right off, and I do think of all the things we got this year, this was the most appreciated.
Then we played …
and played …
And played.
