Well, L will for sure have stories to tell about her baptism. After a winter of severe drought, on the weekend of her baptism, we had a winter storm warning from Friday at 8am until Saturday at 5pm, and the baptism was dead in the middle of it, on Saturday at 10am!
We were lucky enough to have my mom, my brother and his family, my grandparents, and some of our good friends from college all make it, along with a few good friends from the ward.
I’m not the best photographer, and I only have a point and shoot, but here are the pics.
I really messed up and didn’t make sure to get pictures of L with everyone who came, but don’t worry, we know you were there and we love you!
I had to take a picture of my counter last night because it said so much about what had been going on in my house. Bottles of distilled water (because we all have had colds and we’ve been running the humidifier nightly) little black bags of fruit snacks (because my mom had been there, and she always has fruit snacks), Pizzel cookies in the gallon zip lock (because my grandma had been there and L asked her to bring pizzel cookies), almost empty bowl of Doritos, empty plate of angel food cake, and a whole extra angel food cake – because I’m still new at throwing luncheons for lots of people, and I made way too much food. This picture makes me smile.
