Jack-Jack Attack

You know the Incredibles?  And the short that came out with it about Jack-Jack?  Well, since our little boy is just the right age to be Jack-Jack this year, and since I’d gone to the effort to make his sisters costumes, I had to make him one.

I started out with fabric and a pair of pajamas to make a pattern from.  I mostly did pretty good.  Except I should have googled “how to put a collar on a t-shirt” before I put the collar on, instead of after.  I made such a mess of it, trying to figure it out myself, and I didn’t have enough red fabric to start over again, so I left it as it turned out.  But I promise, next time I do a collar like this, it will be much better!

And since I found red t-shirts for $2 at Jo-Anne’s, I put logos on two adult shirts for me and C.  It just tickles me to think of  C being Mr. Incredible, and me as Elasti-Girl.  Ha Ha Ha!  Pics to come sometime after Halloween.  :-)
