The Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 1

Today we actually got two bags, since we'll be out of town tomorrow, and they did pick up their bag of goodies and the note saying we'd be gone. So, we did get the little baby Jesus today, along with a beautiful box with little bubble wrappers for each of the little nativity pieces. We also got more candy canes and peanuts. Thank you to our still secret Santas!
Luke 2: 10, 11
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
What Child is This?
What Child is this, who laid to rest,
On Mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping?
Wh lies He in such mean estate
Where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christian fear for sinners here,
The silent word is pleading.
So bring him incense, gold and myrrh;
Come peasant, king, to own him,
The King of kings, salvation brings;
Let loving arms enthrone him.
Chorus: This, this is Christ the king,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste, haste to bring him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.
